Kitchen.Video Ident

For the launch of Kitchen.Video, a multidisciplinary video lab founded by director Kaushik Sarkar, I was commissioned to create a generative animation that embodied the studio’s spirit of experimentation and discovery. Inspired by the Kitchen logo—an optical play on perspective—the animation deconstructs the letterforms into a modular grid that expands like branching structures in space. This propagation becomes a metaphor for the lab’s exploratory ethos and collaborative energy. The visual was built entirely in NodeBox, using procedural logic to shape movement and form. The result is a dynamic, perspective-shifting piece that echoes Kitchen’s commitment to creative evolution and cross-disciplinary play.
